The man of heart that bears everything, son of Mr. Vijayakumar and Mrs. Anjalai, was born in a middle-class family. During my college days, women were given less education and fewer employment opportunities. I decided then that I wanted to improve the lives of women, especially those from poor families. I started this college in 2012 with the aim of improving the skill education, and employment opportunities for women. In the beginning, I was running this college as Thiruvalluvar Nursing institution. Now it is functioning as Anjalaiammal Educational and charitable Trust, which comes under Anjalaiammal Nursing College from beginning to hereafter. I have so far provided employment to 600-700 students and helped them progress in their lives. This alone is enough to achieve more in my career, for the poor students. My biggest ambition is to increase women’s skill education, create employment opportunities for them, and enhance their educational skills in this society. That is my journey towards.

Our college was started in 2012 –Thiruvalluvar Nursing Institution, affiliated with Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical Unviersity offered a course of DIPLOMA IN NURSING AIDE with a rented building. After 2015, it converted into ANJALAIAMMAL NURSING COLLEGE in its own building it is also affiliated with Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University with the same course. Then the University closed the course in 2021.
After that year of 2021, Anjalaiammal Nursing college affiliated with Manonmanium Sundaranar University, with courses of Advanced Vocational diploma in Human care, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Trauma and Emergency Care, Diploma in OT Technology, Diploma in Cardiac care technology, Diploma in Optometry Care still running. Then we started Anjalaiammal Community College in the year 2022, affiliated with Tamil Nadu Open University, a course of Advanced Vocational Diploma in General Duty Assistant. This University is recognized as all under (UGC ACT), under the Government-approved Grand Commission.
The Tamil Nadu government’s PUDHUMAI PENN SCHEME we are providing Rs.1000 per month to female students.
